Apple Announces Cards for iPad/iPhone

By October 4, 2011

Follow me on:

The first bit of news coming out of the Apple event is a new app called "Cards" that will allow you to design your own card. Once designed, Apple will print the card out on high quality paper and send it anywhere in the world. And if it is sent in the U.S., you will receive push notification of when it arrives.

The Cards apps will be a free download and will arrive in the app store on October 12th. No word yet on how much it will cost to actually send a card to someone, but this might be a nice app to have with the holiday season upon us.

$2.99 a card?!?! Why pay that much when you can do the same thing for about $1? Check it out at sendoutcards.com/preview

I can’t get a card out of “draft” status and cannot “send”. Any ideas why?
