The iPad may be bigger, faster and even prettier, but that doesn't mean it is better. In fact, I've often found myself reaching for the iPad Mini instead of my full-sized iPad, especially when I am using it as a companion to the TV when lounging on the couch. In that instance, the smaller size is actually a benefit.
Of course, if I am going to sit down to a game of Infinity Blade 2, the iPad's Retina Display will pull me to the bigger screen. It can also be nice to have a bigger canvas for Draw Something. And if I'm planning to get some work done, the 9.7-inch screen allows me to be more productive.
But that doesn't mean it's best for everyone. For casual use, the iPad Mini is not just 'fine', it can be preferable.
So if you are hoping for an iPad, which one do you want? The full-sized or the iPad Mini? And if you are planning on giving one away as a gift, which one will you choose?
