A lot of RPG enthusiasts are looking forward to Baldur's Gate arriving on the iPad. Unfortunately, the wait just got a little bit longer. Today Trent Olster, creative director for the Enhanced Edition, vented on Twitter about Apple rejecting the latest build for the game.
Beamdog originally did their own rejection, electing to submit a new build after finding a bug that was a little too big to let go live. This pushed the expected release back to early this week, but now with Apple finding an issue with the game, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition probably won't launch on the iPad until next week.
Trying to see the good side of this turn of events, Trent tweeted, "We are frustrated, but every extra day is a chance to make the game better ;-)".
I can certainly feel their pain. In creating my own RPG, I hit plenty of stumbling blocks. Including letting one release slip through my hands with a rather bad bug waiting for would-be players.
For those biting their nails waiting for Baldur's Gate to be resurrected, go play one of these great RPGs.

That stinks – everyone spam Apple support to get this done faster! Can’t wait to play Baldurs Gate on the iPad!!!
I have been dying to play this since I first caught wind of it back in June. I guess I can wait another week.
Yes, spamming Apple will certainly make it get done faster. /sarcasm.
