The iPotty Is Perhaps the Strangest iPad Accessory

By January 11, 2013

Follow me on:

CTA Digital unveiled the iPotty at CES 2013, and as the name suggests, the iPotty is an iPad accessory designed to help out with potty training. The $39.99 accessory looks similar to any other potty-training potty, except for the iPad stand that provides a source of entertainment for the would-be pottier. And of course, the iPad is protected with a built-in case that includes a screen protector.

CTA Digital has a host of interesting iPad accessories, including an inflatable car with a dock built into the steering wheel and an inflatable play cube that fits the iPad into one side of the cube. But the iPotty is definitely their strangest creation. Oddly enough, it could be a great way to potty train a toddler. My 18-month-old is definitely fascinated by anything with a touchscreen, and an iPad is a sure-fire way to get her to sit still for an extended period of time. But perhaps the last thing I want to teach her is that an iPad should be a constant companion in the bathroom.
