Temple Run Information
Temple Run was released in August of 2011 and has quickly become one of the most popular and addictive casual games on the iPad. A 3D platformer with a simple concept, Temple Run is all about escaping the temple grounds before a group of monkeys catches up with you. It's played by swiping the screen left or right to turn, up or down to jump or slide and tilting left or ride to pick up coins.
While simple in concept, the game is quite addictive. In addition to putting distance between your explorer and the monkeys, you collect coins that you can use to purchase powerups from the store. Once purchased, these powerups will be available for all future games, and they become more powerful as you invest more coins.
