Did an issue with your iPad cause you to wipe it and restore it to factory default resulting in some of your apps being lost? Or perhaps you broke your iPad, bought a new one and are now missing your favorite game? Don't worry. So long as you connected the iPad to the same Apple account when setting it up, you can easily restore apps and games to the iPad.
Here are some easy steps that will allow you to re-download previously purchased apps:
- Launch the App Store.
- Choose "Purchased" from the bottom menu of icons. This will lead to a screen showing all of your purchased apps. This screen is divided into iPad apps and iPhone apps, which can be toggled by the buttons at the top right corner of the screen.
- At the very top, touch "Not on This iPad" to narrow the apps down to those you no longer have on the iPad.
- Tap the cloud button next to any app to restore it to the iPad.
Note: You can also simply search for an app in the App Store. Previously purchased apps will have a button that reads "Install" rather than having a price.
