How to Delete Photos From Your iPad
Deleting Photos from the iPad

Deleting Photos from the iPad will always bring up a confirmation.

As an app developer, I have to take a lot of screenshots of my iPad. This tends to clutter up my photo albums, since screenshots are stored in the same place as photos. Luckily, it's pretty easy to delete photos from the iPad.

First, go into your Photos app. (You can also access the Photos app from within the iPad's camera by touching the icon next to the options button or sliding your finger across the screen from left to right.)

Next, choose the photos tab to bring up all of your photos. (If you have a lot of photos, you can also delete an individual photo from an album by choosing the albums tab.)

Tap the photo you want to delete. This will bring the photo up in full screen mode. From here, you simply tap the trashcan in the upper right corner of the screen. If you don't see a trashcan button, tap the middle of the screen to bring up the title bar.

You will be asked to confirm deleting the photo.

Did you know you can delete multiple photos at the same time? Find out how.
