Here's how to post videos on X through a web browser and the X mobile app. How to Post a Video on X From Twitter.com All videos you post on the X website need to be in MP4 format. If the video isn't in that format, convert it using a free video conversion software tool. Go to https://twitter.com, log in to your account, and select Tweet on the left side of the page. Select the picture icon and choose the video you want to upload. Type anything you want to add to your tweet, then select Tweet to upload the video. If the video is too long, X automatically displays the trim video option. How to Post Videos on the X App It's also possible to upload videos from your phone using the X app. In the X mobile app, tap the New Tweet icon. Tap the picture icon, then select the video you want to upload. Type the tweet you want to accompany the video, then tap Tweet. You can include up to four videos in a single tweet. X Video Requirements X puts a few technical limitations on videos you can share: Videos must be in the MP4 video format (or MOV for mobile).Videos must be under 2 minutes and 20 seconds in length. Videos must be under 512 MB in size with a bitrate of 25 Mbps or lower.Videos must be between 32 x 32 and 1920 x 1200 resolution. The aspect ratio (the ratio of the video width to height) must be 2.39:1 or less.The maximum frame rate is 40 FPS.
